My own tribute to little opportunity Rover. This image is still a bit unfinished, I need to finish painting all of his little mechanics but I’m happy with it so far. The composition is inspired by the little prince. This is not like my typical work but I really wanted to create this as I love science and have followed the rovers updates for years. We have learned so much about Mars because of these amazing little guys! Was nice to step out of my box of painting mostly organic matter and to paint a robot for a change and a very cute and amazing one at that! I think opportunity resembles number 5 from “Short Circuit” and “wall-e” a bit!
